Meditation:

Monday Evenings : from 7pm to 8pm:

Venerable Kassapa has been teaching this class. There is a formal Dhamma talk for 20 minutes and a guided meditation and an opportunity to ask questions at the end.

Note: His last session will be on 6 March 2023 before leaving on 9 March 2023 for Thailand to further his practice.

Sunday Afternoons: From 3:30 pm to 4:30pm

Steven Towler is the teacher for this session. Steven is a skilled practitioner of meditation in the Thai Forest Tradition. He used to be ordained as a monk for many years.

Meditation : from 3:30 pm to 4 pm.

Q & A : from 4 to 4:30 pm : Participants have an opportunity to share their experiences in mediation and asking questions on some topics in Buddhism and the practice.

NEW UPDATE: Venerable Kassapa will be teaching Meditation at the Temple from Monday 25 April 2022, from 7pm to 8 pm.

Due to new rulings surrounding the Covid issues in Perth, Meditation on Monday Evenings will be temporarily closed from Monday 28 February 2022 until further notice. Thank you for all your support. We look forward to seeing you again once things have settled down, helpfully before too long.

UPDATE 16 January 2022

Meditation on Monday Evenings will resume on Monday 17 January 2022 from 7 to 8 pm.

Steven Towler has kindly accepted our invitation to teach again while we are waiting for monks to return.

He is a highly qualified teacher.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Meditation on Monday 27 December 2021 is the last one in 2021. Thank you all for your attendance throughout the year.

We will resume on 17 January 2022.

Venerable Kassapa will be resuming teaching from 25 October 2021, from 7 pm to 8 pm in the Dana Hall in the front part.

Update on 10 August 2021

Venerable Kassapa will have a rest from teaching on Monday evenings during the Rains Retreat from 10 August. He will resume teaching on Monday 11 October.

Steven Towler, a lay teacher, is happy to fill in from Monday 16 August to October 4. Steven used to be a monk who followed the Thai Forest Tradition. He is a very qualified teacher with many years of experience.

We are so blessed to find a teacher so soon. Thank you so much Steven.

  •  You are welcome to join us. We are just a small group under 20 people.

    We usually start meeting for a cup of tea around 6:30 pm.

  • You do not have to be a Buddhist to meditate.

  • It is open to all .
